Notes for use of high temperature vacuum tube furnace

Vacuum tube furnace due to the use of the loss is very large, so we need to pay attention to the use of many places, the following is a brief introduction of the vacuum tube furnace in the use of several matters need to pay attention to.

1, vacuum tube furnace used for the first time or after long time need not, in about 120 ℃, bake for 1 hour at about 300 ℃ baking 2 hours after use, so as not to cause cracking chamber of a stove or furnace. The furnace temperature should not exceed the rated temperature to avoid damaging the heating element and furnace lining. Direct pouring of various liquids and dissolving of metals into the furnace is prohibited to keep the furnace clean.

2, high temperature vacuum tube furnace after the use of a period of time, if the vacuum is reduced, can be replaced between the stainless steel flange temperature-resistant silicone ring or re-installed stainless steel flange or replacement repair vacuum system, in order to improve the overall vacuum of the system.

3. When the cold furnace is used, because the furnace is cold and a large amount of heat must be absorbed, the temperature rise rate in the low temperature section is not easy to be too fast, and the temperature rise rate difference in each temperature section is not easy to be too large. When setting the temperature rise rate, the physical and chemical properties of the sintered material should be fully considered, so as to avoid the occurrence of spray phenomenon and pollution of the furnace tube.

4, if furnace using quartz tube, when the temperature higher than 1000 ℃, the high temperature part of the quartz tube will appear opaque phenomenon, this is called devitrification (also called crystallization) is an inherent defects of fused quartz tube, belongs to the normal phenomenon.

5. Check regularly whether the electrical connection part of the temperature control system is in good contact, and pay special attention to whether the connection points of heating elements are tight.
